Gwangju Dong-gu, Recruiting Participants for Community-Led Youth Job Program
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Im Taek) announced on the 13th that it is recruiting local youth to participate in the community-led youth job project, "Village Workplace! Youth Intern Support Project."
This project, selected through the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's "Community-led Youth Job" contest, is a program that supports work experience for unemployed local youth at various workplaces located in Dong-gu.
Applicants must be unemployed youth under the age of 39 currently residing in Dong-gu, and the number of recruits is 19.
The project period is from next month until November, during which participants will gain various work experiences at designated workplaces and receive support for job-seeking activities such as job training and certification acquisition.
Youth wishing to participate can refer to the Dong-gu website, complete the related documents, and submit them via email or visit the Youth Sports Division from the 19th to the 26th.

Mayor Im Taek of Dong-gu said, "Dong-gu is a region with various workplaces that have local characteristics such as culture, tourism, and social economy," and added, "We will continuously establish cooperative systems with village workplaces to systematically support local youth in gaining work experience."
