On the 12th, Hong posted on his Facebook, "Delays in sentencing that violate principles cause public distrust in the judiciary," and added, "I hope the Supreme Court's 2nd Division will promptly deliver a verdict on the Democratic Party's Yangsan mayor election law violation case."
He stated, "By changing the presiding judge of defendant Kim Kyung-soo in the Druking case, the trial has been delayed, and the Supreme Court has not reported the appeal of the Democratic Party's Yangsan mayor election law violation case, even though more than five months have passed since the appellate court's ruling, exceeding the Supreme Court's three-month regulation."
He continued, "Whether it is because the Yangsan election was seen as unfavorable in the general election, or whether the Supreme Court's verdict is now being manipulated by the Moon administration, it is truly a shameful reality of the judiciary that is currently under suspicion," but emphasized, "I still trust our Supreme Court."
