Recruitment of Performance Teams for Gangnam-gu Happiness Concert
Traditional Music, Popular Music, Pure Music, and Performance Events Held in Major Commercial and Everyday Spaces Until the 21st
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) is recruiting performance teams by the 21st to hold the 'Happiness Concert' year-round at major commercial areas and everyday spaces within the district such as COEX, Garosugil, apartments, and parks.
The 'Happiness Concert' features various performances including instrumental music, singing, dance, and mime in a busking style for one hour during weekday and weekend lunch and dinner times. Last year, 62 teams performed 596 times.
The district plans to officially launch 'customized concerts for residents' from April, tailored to suitable locations and times.
The recruitment fields include four categories: ▲Traditional music (Gugak, Minyo, Pungmul) ▲Popular music (Indie bands, Folk) ▲Pure music (Classical, Orchestra) ▲Performance (Dance, Mime, Musical, etc.), with performance teams selected through auditions.
Individuals or teams wishing to participate can download the application form from the district office website (www.gangnam.go.kr) and submit it via email (cjsdnwls@gangnam.go.kr).
