Changwon City Expands Financial Support Program for Floriculture Farmers
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Son Tae-seok] Changwon City, Gyeongnam Province (Mayor Heo Seong-mu) announced that it will expand the Agricultural Development Fund loan support to help local flower farmers who are struggling due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia).
This year, the scale of the Changwon City Agricultural Development Fund loans is 5 billion KRW, supporting agricultural facilities and operating funds for timely farming activities. The loan limit is 50 million KRW for individuals and 100 million KRW for corporations and organizations for facility funds, and 30 million KRW for individuals and 50 million KRW for corporations and organizations for operating funds.

Loan applications will be accepted, and recipients will be finalized through a selection committee. Loans will be provided starting from the end of March at NH Nonghyup Bank. Farmers wishing to apply can visit their local eup/myeon/dong office to submit their applications.”
