[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Related stocks have been soaring for three consecutive days following the news of the film Parasite winning four Academy Awards.
On the 12th at 11 a.m. in the KOSDAQ market, Barunson E&A, the production company of the film Parasite, was trading at 3,620 KRW, up 23.34% from the previous session. At the same time, Barunson, where Barunson E&A is the largest shareholder, rose 29.87% from the previous session, marking the upper limit price for three consecutive days.
Nongshim, the manufacturer of "Jjapaguri (Jjapaghetti + Neoguri)" featured in the film, is also experiencing a sharp rise. Nongshim was trading at 257,500 KRW on the KOSPI market, up 4.67% from the previous session.

Parasite won four awards at this year's U.S. Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature Film.
