Lotte Confectionery Opens 'Gillian' Pop-up Store for Valentine's Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Sunghye] Lotte Confectionery announced on the 12th that it will operate a Guylian pop-up store at the Lotte Department Store Seoul Myeongdong Main Branch until Valentine's Day on the 14th.
Chef Kim Eunhye, a national representative chocolate artisan who ranked 5th in the 2018 World Chocolate Masters, personally created the chocolate exhibits. The exhibit, themed around love confessions between men and women, was completed on-site after about a month of pre-production.
At the pop-up store, an event is held where seahorse-shaped ruby chocolates are made on the spot and distributed, and more than 20 different products such as Guylian chocolate gift sets, New Guylian bars, and Ghana Chef Collection are also sold.

After being acquired by Lotte Confectionery in 2008, the 'Guylian Cafe,' which embodies Guylian's symbolism, is operated at Lotte World Mall and the Lotte Duty Free VIP lounge.
