Hite Jinro announced on the 12th that the sales volume of 'Somersby,' which began importation in 2018, increased by 84.8% compared to the previous year, and in 2018, it grew by 92.5% compared to the previous year, recording an average annual growth rate of 88.7%.
At the beginning of 2018, Hite Jinro signed an official import contract with Carlsberg, the number one beer company in Denmark, and launched Somersby. Last year, they expanded opportunities for direct experience through active consumer contact points such as convenience stores and large supermarkets, aired TV commercials, and renewed the packaging emphasizing Somersby’s clean natural image. The new packaging of Somersby, containing natural apple juice, is evaluated to have appealed to young consumers who are interested in health and the environment. From July to September last year, when the TV commercials were aired, sales grew by 75% compared to the previous year, coinciding with the peak season effect.
