[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dobong-gu (Mayor Lee Dong-jin) will support the employment of career-interrupted women in their 30s to 60s through the 'Our Neighborhood Household Master Project,' selected as a Seoul-type New Deal Job Project from March to December.

The 'Our Neighborhood Household Master Project' involves career-interrupted women who have completed professional organizing and storage training visiting low-income vulnerable households to teach △simple recycling separation methods △organizing and storage techniques △welfare information and simple side dish cooking methods.

This project is designed to improve the quality of life for vulnerable groups and to provide career-interrupted women with education support for obtaining professional organizer certification, practical opportunities, and job support.

The district plans to hire a final group of 10 career-interrupted women by February. They will complete the certification course from the Korea Organizing and Storage Association, obtain the Level 2 professional organizer certificate, and after pre-job training on counseling methods, welfare systems, and case management, they will work from the end of March to December at nine community centers and the Welfare Policy Division in Dobong-gu.

Lee Dong-jin, Mayor of Dobong-gu, stated, “This 'Our Neighborhood Household Master' training project was prepared to help career-interrupted women who are struggling with reemployment. We will continuously create customized projects tailored to Dobong-gu’s characteristics so that career-interrupted women seeking reemployment can find new jobs in more stable professional fields. Through these projects, we will support residents to live better lives.”
