Jeongeup-si Promotes 'Citizen Participation Garden Making' Contest Project
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jae-gil] Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk announced on the 11th that it will promote the 'Citizen Participation Garden Making' project as a public contest project.
The participants are resident communities and organizations with more than 10 members capable of carrying out village community projects, targeting village shared land, resident rest areas, and street spaces with an area of 100㎡ or more.
Each site will be supported with 18 million KRW, with a self-contribution of 2 million KRW.
Organizations wishing to participate should prepare a community garden creation project plan using flowers, wildflowers, etc., and apply at the town or township office and the neighborhood community center of the project site. The application deadline is until the 28th.
The city plans to select a total of five sites through document review and on-site investigation.
