Sang-ik Lee, Prospective Candidate for Hampyeong County Governor, "Will Solve Parking Problems in Hampyeong-eup"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Lee Sang-ik, a preliminary candidate for the by-election for Hampyeong County Governor in Jeollanam-do, pledged to solve the severe parking problems in the area.
Hampyeong-eup in Hampyeong County is known as a region with a high risk of traffic accidents due to vehicles parked on the roadside caused by a lack of parking facilities.
Therefore, merchants and residents have been persistently demanding solutions to the parking difficulties.
At a meeting with market merchants, the candidate said, “The current parking method of alternating parking on one side of the road has reached its limit and is one of the factors causing traffic accidents,” adding, “It would have been better if many public parking lots were installed where parking is needed.”
