Yangju 'Seonam~Bongam' 3.88km Widening and Paving Construction... 29.9 Billion Won Invested
[Asia Economy (Uijeongbu) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province has begun the expansion and paving construction of Local Road No. 375, connecting Seonam-ri in Eunhyeon-myeon to Bongam-ri in Yangju City.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Construction Headquarters announced on the 11th that it is carrying out tasks such as construction surveying, reviewing design documents, and building a site office for the road expansion and paving project on Local Road No. 375 between Seonam and Bongam, a long-awaited project for residents in the northern Gyeonggi region this year.
The Seonam-Bongam road expansion and paving project involves widening the 3.88 km road section running north-south from Seonam-ri in Eunhyeon to Bongam-ri into two lanes, along with constructing one bridge and three intersections.
The total project cost is 29.9 billion KRW, with completion targeted for December 2022.
Through this expansion and paving work, the province expects to widen the narrow road width, improve sections with poor geometric design, alleviate traffic inconveniences, and create a safer road environment for residents.
