The Changwon Western Police Station in Gyeongnam announced on the 10th that they have arrested eight individuals, including A (18), on charges of robbery and injury, and have requested arrest warrants.
A and others are accused of assaulting B (43) with a blunt weapon and stealing cash at a lodging facility located in Bonggok-dong, Uichang-gu, Changwon City, around 8:40 p.m. on the 7th.
According to the police, they lured B by saying through a mobile phone chat app, "A woman is alone, come over."
When the police arrived, some fled the scene, but they were eventually caught.
Investigations revealed that on the day of the crime, they also stole money from another man at the same location using the same method.
