Lotte Asset Development Conducts Disinfection at Lotte World Mall and Signature Tower
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Lotte Asset Development announced on the 9th that it is strengthening disinfection measures at Lotte World Mall, Lotte Mall, and Lotte Fitin to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia).
First, Lotte Asset Development is focusing on disinfecting areas and pathways where customers gather, such as escalators, and plans to conduct overall facility disinfection after business hours on the 10th. In particular, Lotte Mall Suwon completed full facility disinfection on the 3rd and plans a second disinfection on the 10th.
Additionally, thermal cameras have been installed to continuously check customers' body temperatures, and measures are taken according to procedures for customers with temperatures above 37.5 degrees Celsius. Hand sanitizers have been placed in customer spaces such as stroller rental areas, infant lounges, and customer consultation rooms to create an environment where customers can take the lead in prevention themselves.
Along with this, prevention guidelines such as hand washing and mask-wearing are being communicated to employees and customers through posters and broadcasts, and employees are wearing masks while on duty.
Kim Taejin, head of the Safety Management Team at Lotte Asset Development, said, “In addition to the retail facilities Lotte World Mall, Lotte Mall, and Lotte Fitin, we are also thoroughly disinfecting the Signature Tower in Euljiro 3-ga, which Lotte Asset Development manages as a property manager (PM).”

Lotte Asset Development conducted the first round of full disinfection of the Signature Tower on the 8th and plans a second disinfection on the 15th. Currently, 32 companies, including Korea Seven and Kumho Petrochemical, are tenants in the Signature Tower besides Lotte Asset Development.
