Damyang-gun Recruiting Participants for 'Income Projects Utilizing Vacant Houses and Other Idle Facilities'
Applications Accepted Until the 13th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Choi Hyung-sik) announced on the 7th that it is recruiting candidates to promote income-generating projects utilizing vacant houses and other idle facilities until the 13th.
This project is a pledge of the 7th local government administration, supporting village communities to take charge of managing and operating vacant houses and warehouses that owners cannot manage, or individuals to start businesses linked to income generation.
The project is open to village communities, small communities, and individuals, with a basic lease period of 5 years, and priority will be given to projects with high income generation when providing support.
The project scale is limited to within 3 teams. For village communities, support is up to 50 million KRW (with 10% self-payment), and for small communities and individuals, up to 25 million KRW (with 30% self-payment). Applicants can freely choose business types such as lodging facilities, cafes/restaurants, and experiential education centers for support.
Support includes facility costs for infrastructure construction such as remodeling idle facilities, asset acquisition costs, content and program development costs, etc. After selecting the project candidates, the final business plan will be confirmed together with experts in the relevant fields, administration, and residents.
