Delivery of School Bag Gift Sets Worth 150 Million KRW to Children from Low-Income Families
On the 6th, at the 'Korean Buddhist History and Culture Memorial Hall' in Jongno-gu, Seoul, Han Dong-wook, Vice President of KB Kookmin Card (right), presented a backpack gift set worth 150 million won for children scheduled to enter elementary school next month to Ven. Wonhaeng, Chairman of the Beautiful Companion Foundation and Chief Executive of the Jogye Order (center).

On the 6th, KB Kookmin Card delivered over 2,300 school bag gift sets worth approximately 150 million KRW to children about to enter elementary school next month at the 'Korean Buddhist History and Culture Memorial Hall' in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The school bag gift sets consisted of ▲a school bag ▲an auxiliary pouch ▲stationery ▲a congratulatory postcard for school admission. These will be distributed to children from financially disadvantaged families preparing to enter elementary school through local children's centers and welfare centers.
Since 2015, KB Kookmin Card has collaborated annually with the foundation 'Areumdaun Donghaeng' to produce school bag gift sets for prospective elementary school students, delivering them to over 10,500 children to date.
