Jungbu Power Supports Asan and Jincheon with 20 Million Won in Daily Necessities... "Sharing Local Difficulties"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Korea Midland Power announced that it will provide 20 million won to supply daily necessities to Asan and Jincheon, where quarantine facilities related to the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia) are being operated.
This is to help repatriated citizens under quarantine, local residents, and medical staff in Asan and Jincheon, which are located near the power plants, amid the national crisis caused by the novel coronavirus.
Midland Power decided to quickly provide essential medical supplies such as masks and sanitizers, as well as daily necessities like bottled water and snacks, in cooperation with the Chungnam Community Chest of Korea.
They plan to purchase agricultural products such as rice and vegetables from Asan and Jincheon, where consumption has shrunk due to the local economic downturn and the infectious disease, and donate them to local welfare facilities.
