[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Former lawmaker Ahn Cheol-soo stated on the 6th regarding the formation of a competitive structure due to the integration push by the Bareunmirae Party, "We think the more competition there is, the better," adding, "Wouldn't it attract the interest of many citizens?"
On the same day, after visiting the Korean Medical Association in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and meeting with executives, former lawmaker Ahn told reporters, "What we aim for is to maximize the interests of the people," and said, "Politics that works properly is necessary. That is the political paradigm toward practical politics that we envision."
Regarding the founding members' meeting scheduled for the 9th, former lawmaker Ahn said, "I am very grateful that many people have expressed their intention to participate," and added, "On this occasion, we will introduce such people and properly inform the public about the direction our party should take."
Concerning the novel coronavirus infection, former lawmaker Ahn argued, "Even if thorough quarantine is conducted for those who have already entered Korea, if the inflow continues, it will be difficult to cope any longer," and insisted, "A temporary entry ban should be implemented not only for the Wuhan area but across the entire China."
