On the 5th, the Jungbu Fire Station in Incheon announced that a fire occurred at around 6:04 PM on the 4th on the first floor of a two-story guesthouse located in Jung-gu, Incheon, and was extinguished within 15 minutes.
According to the fire authorities, one guest staying at the guesthouse inhaled smoke and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Six other guests reportedly evacuated on their own.
The fire caused damage to furnishings and other items, with the fire station estimating property damage worth approximately 37 million won.

The fire authorities and police have started an investigation, suspecting arson due to traces of fire being found in various places on the first floor of the guesthouse.
