Gwangju City Operates Real Estate Transaction Consultation Center
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 4th that it operates a Real Estate Transaction Consultation Center that provides free consultations for questions related to real estate transactions.
The Real Estate Transaction Consultation Center was established in 2014 and provides detailed guidance on real estate laws, precautions during transactions, and ways to handle disputes.
This year, it started operating from the 8th of last month. Every Wednesday from 2 PM to 6 PM, consultation committee members composed of 12 real estate experts work in shifts at the Civil Service Office on the first floor of City Hall, providing customized consultation services for citizens.
Any citizen who wishes to receive consultation can visit in person or receive consultation by phone.
Meanwhile, since its establishment, the Real Estate Transaction Consultation Center has provided consultation services for a total of 416 cases. The number of consultations has increased every year, from 18 cases in 2014 to 48 in 2015, 76 in 2016, 70 in 2017, 77 in 2018, and 127 in 2019.

Lee Su-won, Director of the Land Information Division of the city, said, “The Real Estate Transaction Consultation Center provides free consultation services to help citizens prevent inconveniences or disadvantages caused by real estate transactions,” and added, “We hope many citizens actively utilize this service.”
