No Limit on Number of Recruits
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The 'Seoul Youth Network,' open to all young people aged 19 to 39 who live or are active in Seoul, is recruiting members.
On the 4th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it is seeking young people who wish to participate in solving future social issues such as the climate crisis, gender equality, and inequality alleviation.
There is no limit on the number of recruits, and participants will be involved in discovering and proposing policy agendas, budgeting, and overall Seoul city administration. The Youth Autonomous Budgeting System, where young citizens allocate a budget of 50 billion KRW, undergoes a thorough deliberation process and a public discussion phase to gather citizen opinions before the budget proposal is submitted to the Seoul Youth Citizens' Assembly.
Applications can be submitted online until the 28th.
