Fire at Massage Parlor in Gumi, Gyeongbuk... Over 80 Million Won in Damages
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jucheol In] At around 3:13 a.m. on the 4th, a fire of unknown cause broke out at a three-story ground-level massage parlor in Wonpyeong-dong, Gumi, Gyeongbuk.
The fire caused property damage estimated by the fire station at about 80 million KRW, including 400㎡ of the massage parlor's interior and household goods. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
The fire authorities dispatched to the scene deployed 10 pieces of equipment and 37 personnel, extinguishing the fire within 30 minutes.

A fire official stated, "It has been confirmed that the business had not been operating for 2 to 3 months," adding, "The fire is believed to have started on the first floor of the building, and the exact cause of the fire is under investigation."
