Gumi City Council's Flower Hill and Dongrak Park Development Project Passes Standing Committee
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jucheol In] The Industry and Construction Committee of Gumi City Council in Gyeongbuk announced on the 4th that it approved the private park projects for Kkotdongsan Park and Dongnak Park on the 3rd.
The Industry and Construction Committee of Gumi City Council reviewed the revised plan for the Kkotdongsan Park project in Doryang-dong that day and approved it with 6 votes in favor, 3 against, and 1 abstention.
Kkotdongsan Park is a private project investing 973.1 billion KRW to create a park on about 488,000㎡ of forest land out of 750,000㎡, and to build 2,980 apartment units, schools, scenic green spaces, and roads on about 200,000㎡.
The Industry and Construction Committee also reviewed the Dongnak Park project in Imsu-dong and approved it with 7 votes in favor, 2 against, and 1 abstention.
Dongnak Park is a private project investing 984.8 billion KRW to develop a park on 77,792㎡ out of 107,242㎡ and to build 1,344 apartment units on 29,450㎡.
The Kkotdongsan Park project faces opposition from residents and landowners, while Dongnak Park, located in the National Industrial Complex 3, is opposed by surrounding companies.
