Nanomedics "StandardGraphene Signs Non-Disclosure Agreement with US Aerospace Company 'The Spaceship Company'"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Nanomedics announced on the 3rd that Standard Graphene has signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with the U.S. spacecraft manufacturer ‘The Spaceship Company’.
‘The Spaceship Company’ is a subsidiary of Virgin Group, founded by Sir Richard Branson. Established in 2005, it is the company responsible for manufacturing spacecraft and systems for Virgin Galactic, the flagship aerospace company within Virgin Group.
Lee Jung-hoon, CEO of Standard Graphene, stated, “This NDA was formally initiated after Standard Graphene was invited to participate in the Ocean Summit hosted by Sir Richard Branson, where our graphene was validated. Since the end of last year, we have had in-depth discussions directly with Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Group regarding cooperation between the two companies, leading to this contract.”
The company explained that Sir Richard Branson was deeply impressed by Standard Graphene’s world-class graphene mass production capabilities and extensive application testing results, which led to this agreement.
A company representative said, “As both parties have signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), detailed information regarding the contract cannot be disclosed, but Standard Graphene’s graphene technology is expected to be applied across the aerospace industry for purposes such as weight reduction.”
