According to the Military Manpower Administration on the 3rd, this year's military service examinations will be conducted from today until November 27. The total number of examinees this year is approximately 285,000, including those born in 2001 and those whose reasons for postponing the examination have been resolved.
The Military Manpower Administration identified those who visited China among the examinees in advance and postponed their examinations. In particular, among the examinees scheduled for February, 234 had visited China, and 11 of them were postponed. All individuals visiting the military service examination centers will have their temperatures checked at the entrance, and those suspected of infection will be sent home.
The military service examination is divided into basic and detailed examinations. The basic examination includes psychological tests, blood and urine tests, radiological examinations, height and weight measurements, blood pressure, and vision tests for all examinees. The detailed examination involves consultations in internal medicine, surgery, etc., based on the results of the basic examination, the medical questionnaire filled out by the examinee regarding their health status, and any submitted medical certificates.
Upon completion of the military service examination, examinees receive a notification of results that includes abnormalities by category and pathological test values, as well as a personalized health checkup report containing tailored health information issued on-site. A 'Tuberculosis Test Certificate' is also issued using the tuberculosis test results conducted during the examination process.
