Mr. Trot Achieves 'Highest Viewership Ratings' on General Programming Channel

According to Nielsen Korea, a ratings survey company, on the 31st, TV Chosun's 'Tomorrow is Mr. Trot' (Mr. Trot), which aired on the 30th, achieved 20.815% for Part 1 and 25.709% for Part 2 (based on nationwide paid broadcasting households). This significantly surpasses the previous highest rating record of 19.4% for comprehensive programming channels set by 'Mr. Trot'.
It also exceeded the highest rating of 23.8% recorded by JTBC's popular drama 'Sky Castle' in its final episode last year.
During the same time slot, MBN's 'You Are the Voice Queen: A New Beginning Trot Queen' scored 3.283% for Part 1 and 2.597% for Part 2, while Channel A's 'Trust Me and Follow Me: City Fisherman 2' recorded 1.987% for Part 1 and 2.751% for Part 2.
KBS's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Forest' recorded 4.7% for Part 1 and 5.1% for Part 2 (based on nationwide households), and 'Happy Together 4' scored 3.3% for Part 1 and 3.4% for Part 2. SBS's 'Delicious Rendezvous' recorded 5.0% for Part 1, 6.2% for Part 2, and 6.0% for Part 3, while MBC's 'Humanimal' Part 5 scored 2.3%.
The episode of 'Mr. Trot' aired that day featured the second round of the main competition's one-on-one death match.
Choo Hyuk-jin, who attracted attention for his outstanding dance skills, faced off against trot prodigy Kim Hee-jae. Choo Hyuk-jin selected 'First Train' to complete his stage, while Kim Hee-jae sang 'The Man Holding Flowers.' Kim Hee-jae won the match, astonishing everyone with an unprecedented score difference of 11 to 0.

'Cave Bass' Ryu Ji-kwang challenged Im Young-woong, who is considered a strong favorite to win Mr. Trot, resulting in a memorable battle. Ryu Ji-kwang chose Lee Jang-hee's 'I Will Give You Everything,' and Im Young-woong sang Cho Yong-pil's 'One Heart Dandelion.'
