Eunpyeong-gu, Recruiting Students for Dementia Prevention and Management Specialist Training Course
Expected to Contribute to Expanding Social Participation of Career-Interrupted Women
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu is recruiting students for the "Dementia Prevention and Management Specialist Training Course" to support the training and employment linkage of middle-aged women with career interruptions living in the area, helping them to re-enter the workforce and establish a foundation for independence, and to expand social participation through women's employment rates.
This course is a training program for specialists in new occupations needed in the super-aged era, prioritizing applicants who hold certifications as care workers, social workers, nursing assistants, or nurses, and will recruit a total of 20 students.
The Dementia Prevention and Management Specialist Training Course aims to train professionals who can work as specialized instructors for dementia prevention programs at care-related facilities. It also connects graduates to stable employment by conducting job demand surveys and building networks with local care-related companies that have employment agreements.
This course is provided by the Eunpyeong Women's Human Resources Development Center, designated by Seoul City as a women's human resources development institution and by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family as a Women's New Employment Center, uniquely offering one-stop women's vocational training and job placement services in the area.
Moreover, this is not a one-time training but a professional instructor training course that maximizes employment possibilities through individual counseling and job placement services by dedicated employment counselors, helping participants expand their awareness and alternatives regarding work and life, and strengthen employment stability.
Applications can be submitted by visiting or emailing the Eunpyeong Women's Human Resources Development Center by February 7. Selected applicants will undergo a second interview to finalize enrollment.
