521 Wuhan Returnees Quarantined and Housed in Asan...Including 141 Asan Citizens and Chungnam Residents

View original image[Asia Economy (Asan) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Among the approximately 700 Wuhan evacuees returning to Korea, 521 will be staying at the Chungnam Asan Police Human Resources Development Institute. It has been confirmed that 141 Chungnam residents, including 60 Asan citizens, are among them.
According to Chungnam Province on the 30th, the Wuhan evacuees will arrive at Gimpo Airport by chartered plane over two days starting that day and will then move to the Asan Police Human Resources Development Institute and the Chungbuk Jincheon National Civil Service Human Resources Development Institute, respectively.
The Wuhan evacuees who will stay at the Police Human Resources Development Institute will be transported by police buses from the airport after arrival. The facility has a total of 638 rooms (two people per room), allowing up to 1,276 people to stay per day, and each room is reportedly equipped with personal beds and shower facilities.
The province plans to install personal disinfection facilities at the Police Human Resources Development Institute and distribute guidelines and management system manuals for facility use to the residents.
Additionally, the government will be requested to provide special grants to purchase and equip negative pressure ambulances and diagnostic analysis equipment for the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia) in the future.
