View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] No new cases of the novel coronavirus infection (Wuhan pneumonia) have been reported for the third consecutive day. The last confirmed case, the fourth patient, was reported on the 27th.
The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters announced on the 30th, "As a result of diagnostic tests conducted on symptomatic individuals under investigation, no additional confirmed cases were found." As of 9 a.m. that day, the number of confirmed novel coronavirus infection cases in South Korea remains at four, unchanged from the previous day.
There are 240 symptomatic individuals under investigation. Among them, 199 tested negative and were released from isolation, while 41 are still undergoing testing.
The overall condition of the confirmed patients is stable, but the fourth patient continues to be under intensive observation and treatment is ongoing.

Contact tracing is ongoing for 387 contacts of confirmed patients, and so far, 15 have been identified as symptomatic individuals under investigation and tested, all of whom have been confirmed negative.
