As of the afternoon of the previous day, the total number of novel coronavirus clinics designated and announced by the Ministry of Health and Welfare is 487. By entering keywords such as 'corona, novel corona, coronavirus, Wuhan pneumonia, Chinese pneumonia, screening clinic, isolation treatment center' in the T map search bar, you can check nearby screening clinics. When searching together with the region, it is also possible to move directly to the clinic in that area. For example, if you search for Seoul Baek Hospital and corona near Myeongdong, Seoul, a hospital designated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare will be displayed as 'Novel Coronavirus Seoul Baek Hospital Screening Clinic.'
A screening clinic refers to a separate medical facility outside the emergency room or separated from medical institutions. It separates the movement paths of suspected patients, and medical staff wear personal protective equipment to prevent virus transmission. People suspected of infection after visiting China must first report to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency call center (1339) or public health center before visiting medical institutions, including screening clinics.

The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters decided to expand clinics to provide early diagnosis and treatment for patients who may occur in the local community after entering the country asymptomatically.
