On the same day, Hong posted on his Facebook, "The opposition party turned a blind eye and neglected to push for a permanent special prosecutor to investigate who was behind Governor Kim Kyung-soo of Gyeongnam in the Druking incident. Will they again neglect and turn a blind eye to who is behind the recent Ulsan mayoral election case?" he said.
He continued, "Despite being the top contributor to regime change, the prosecution, abandoned due to the establishment of the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials and the adjustment of investigative authority between the police and prosecution, has risen in anger and indicted 13 people including senior Blue House officials in connection with the Ulsan mayoral election interference case," adding, "Since even the Blue House senior secretary for political affairs has been indicted, is it really true that my friend Song Cheol-ho had no involvement?" raising his voice.
Hong said, "These two cases alone provide more than enough grounds for the president's impeachment," and claimed, "If it were them, Gwanghwamun would already be covered with candlelight protests, causing great chaos."
He stated, "Outdoor rallies are held when public sentiment intensifies due to incidents like the Cho Kuk case," and pointed out, "If the timing is missed, even the best policies become futile. Now is the perfect time for a matured regime judgment theory, but since their attention is elsewhere, it is truly pitiful."
He added, "That is why unheard and unseen slogans like 'opposition party judgment theory' are coming out," and said, "It is really frustrating."
