[Asia Economy New York=Correspondent Baek Jong-min] The first death outside Wuhan city, Hubei Province, the origin of the Wuhan pneumonia, has been reported in China.
According to foreign media on the 23rd (local time), Hebei Province health authorities announced that one patient infected with Wuhan pneumonia died that day.
The deceased was an 80-year-old male patient who visited Wuhan city and returned to Hebei Province. He experienced abnormal symptoms but died before receiving treatment or being confirmed with Wuhan pneumonia. This brings the total number of deaths from Wuhan pneumonia to 18.
