Hyundai Department Store to Hold 'Healing Festival' During Lunar New Year Holiday
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Hyundai Department Store announced on the 23rd that it will hold the ‘Seol Holiday Healing Festival’ at 15 department stores and 6 outlets nationwide during the Lunar New Year holiday period.
The Apgujeong Main Store is holding the ‘Overseas Fashion Clearance Sale’ on the 5th floor event hall until the 24th. At the event, over 10 overseas fashion brands such as Emporio Armani, Isabel Marant, and Peserico will sell clearance items at a 60% discount from the original price.
The Trade Center Store is hosting the ‘New Year Furniture Fair’ on the 10th floor culture hall until the 28th. During the event, furniture products from 13 brands including Ace, Simmons, and Carl Hansen will be sold at a 10% discount from the original price. There will also be an experience zone where customers can try massage chairs and recliner sofas to relieve fatigue from holiday housework.
The Pangyo Store will hold a ‘Special Fur Exhibition’ at the basement 1st floor event hall from the 26th to the 27th, offering clearance items from over 10 brands such as Jindo Fur and Sungjin Fur at up to 60% off the original price.
Hyundai Outlets will also hold the ‘Holiday Big Chance’ event from the 24th to the 30th at six stores including Hyundai Premium Outlet Gimpo. Until the 27th, all six stores will run the ‘Handsone Fashion Week,’ doubling purchase mileage points for over 20 brands such as Time, Mine, and System.
During the same period, Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo will hold a ‘Shoe Gift Product Exhibition,’ offering clearance items from over 10 brands including Daks, Misope, and Gose at up to 60% off the original price.
Various events for family customers will also be held at each store.
The Pangyo Store will hold the vacation experience exhibition ‘Pangyo Board Cafe’ at the 10th floor Topaz Hall from the 26th until the 9th of next month. The Mia Store will hold the ‘Holiday Healing Class’ at the 10th floor culture hall until the 24th, offering various programs including a ‘Small Equipment Pilates Class’ to relax muscles.
A Hyundai Department Store official said, “We have prepared various discount events and programs to attract customers enjoying their leisure time during the holiday. We especially expect many family customers to visit.”
Meanwhile, Hyundai Department Store will close for two days at each store during the Lunar New Year holiday. To minimize inconvenience for customers, the closing days are set differently for each store based on the characteristics of the commercial district, either the day before and the day of Seol or the day of Seol and the following day.

Six stores including Trade Center, Kintex, Pangyo, Daegu, Ulsan, and Chungcheong will close for two days on the 24th and 25th, the day before and the day of Seol. Nine stores including Apgujeong Main Store, Cheonho, Sinchon, Mokdong, Mia, D-Cube City, Jungdong, Busan, and Ulsan Dong-gu will close on the 25th and 26th, the day of Seol and the following day. The six Hyundai Outlet stores (Gimpo, Songdo, Dongdaemun, Gasan, Garden Five, and Daegu) will close only on the day of Seol, the 25th.
