Gwangyang City Operates 'Emergency Medical Response Situation Room' During Lunar New Year Holiday
Operation of 20 Hospitals and Clinics, 24 Pharmacies, and 8 Health Institutions... Minimizing Citizen Inconvenience
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Gwangyang City, Jeonnam announced on the 20th that it will operate an ‘Emergency Medical Response Situation Room’ at the public health center from the 24th to the 27th during the Lunar New Year holiday period to ensure that citizens can spend the holiday healthily and safely.
During this Lunar New Year holiday, the city has established an emergency medical system centered on emergency medical institutions to prepare for emergency patients, and will operate emergency rooms 24 hours a day at Gwangyang Sarang Hospital, an emergency medical institution, and Gwangyang Seoul Hospital, an emergency medical facility.
In addition, 20 hospitals and clinics, 24 pharmacies, and 8 health institutions have been designated as ‘Open Hospitals, Clinics, and Pharmacies,’ which will operate in a distributed manner during the holiday to prevent gaps in medical care and minimize inconvenience to citizens.
