[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) signed an agreement with the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (Minister Lee Jung-ok) on the 20th at Seoul Post Tower to create a women-friendly city following its selection as a ‘Women-Friendly City’.
According to the agreement, Gwanak-gu will actively promote 14 women-friendly policies centered on five major goals by 2024: ▲gender equality in the local community ▲expansion of women's economic and social participation ▲enhancement of community safety ▲creation of a family-friendly environment ▲strengthening women's capacity for community activities.
