Assemblyman Jang Byung-wan Warms Hearts with Meal Service Volunteer Work at Senior Welfare Center
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Jang Byeong-wan, member of the National Assembly (Gwangju Dong·Nam-gu Gap), volunteered to serve meals at a senior welfare center ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
According to Jang Byeong-wan's office on the 20th, he visited the Gwangju Nam-gu Senior Welfare Center along with Ha Ju-a, Nam-gu council member, Kim Man-gon, village tax accountant, and Kim Ae-jeong, former Nam-gu council member, to personally serve warm meals to the elderly.
During his tenure as Minister of Planning and Budget, Jang led the establishment of Bitgoeul Senior Health Town. Despite his busy legislative activities as a member of the National Assembly, he has participated annually in senior welfare center sharing events such as the 'Love Rice Cake Soup Sharing Event,' 'Love Rice Cake Sharing Event,' 'Songpyeon Sharing Event,' 'Senior Welfare Center Events,' and 'Coal Briquette Sharing Event.'
