Yeonggwang-gun Opens 3km Forest Trail Around Inuisan Mountain
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) announced on the 20th that it will invest 200 million won to create a 3 km forest trail on Inuisan, the mountain behind Beopseongpo Port, famous for dried yellow corvina.
The county plans to carry out the "Inuisan Hiking Trail Maintenance Project," which will widen the hiking trail so that people of all ages can easily walk, and improve steep sections to make the slope gentler.
Currently, the detailed design has been completed, landowner consent is being obtained, and the project is scheduled to be commissioned next month.
Through the forest cultivation project, the county also plans to remove underbrush and kudzu vines around the hiking trail and forest trail, and plant trees in open spaces without trees to provide shade for hikers.
