Aero K Assigned Two-Letter Code 'RF' by IATA
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Aero K announced on the 20th that it received the two-letter code 'RF' from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) on the 8th for reservation and ticketing purposes.
The two-letter code is a code that airlines must be assigned for air transport operations. For example, Korean Air has been assigned KE, and Asiana Airlines has been assigned OZ.
Aero K has also been assigned the code 'EOK' by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for flight and air traffic control purposes.
An Aero K official stated, "As an airline that prioritizes safety above all, we plan to secure the highest safety by acquiring skilled professionals including pilots and maintenance technicians, and by completing high-quality training programs provided by manufacturers."

Meanwhile, Aero K, which is scheduled to launch domestic flights (Cheongju~Jeju) in March, recently completed the painting work and test flights of its first aircraft. Aero K's first aircraft is scheduled to be delivered to Cheongju Airport on the 13th of next month.
