Billie Eilish to Perform in Seoul on August 23 as Part of World Tour
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Billie Eilish will visit Korea this August.
On the 20th, Billie Eilish posted on her Instagram a photo of a concert poster with the caption "see you soon asia."
The revealed photo shows the Seoul concert date as August 23. Details such as the venue and ticket purchase information have not yet been announced.
Billie Eilish will perform starting in Seoul, followed by Shanghai on August 25, Taipei on August 28, Hong Kong on August 30, Tokyo on September 2, Manila on September 5, and Jakarta on September 7.
Billie Eilish first gained recognition in 2016 by releasing her debut single "Ocean Eyes" on the web-based music sharing platform SoundCloud. She later topped the Billboard Alternative Albums chart with her EP album "Don't Smile at Me."
She released her full-length debut album "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" which reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
