Public Disclosure Information Service 'Open DART' Opens on the 21st
[Asia Economy Reporter Koh Hyung-kwang] The Financial Supervisory Service announced on the 20th that it has established 'Open DART,' a disclosure information open service that allows investors, fintech companies, and academia to easily utilize disclosure information, and will begin pilot operation from the 21st.
The main service of Open DART, 'Open API,' expands the provision from existing company overviews to detailed disclosure contents in the disclosure list. By using the Open API, disclosure information can be collected and utilized without visiting the DART homepage.
The Disclosure Information Utilization Corner, previously provided on the DART homepage, has been transferred to Open DART to improve ease and convenience of use.
The Disclosure Information Utilization Corner is a service within DART that supports users in easily extracting desired information from disclosure documents submitted by companies and comparing and analyzing them by company.
Pilot operation is available after applying for Open API use on the Open DART homepage (http://opendart.fss.or.kr).
It provides 12 types of information, which disclosure users are mainly interested in from business reports and quarterly/half-year reports, as usable data.
It also provides the number (ratio) of shares held by major shareholders holding large amounts of listed company stocks, as well as the number (ratio) of shares owned by executives and major shareholders.
In addition to the original financial statement files of listed companies, financial information of all listed companies is provided for use according to the purpose.
During the pilot operation period, user feedback will be collected, and the official service is scheduled to launch in April.
