Jang Young-chul, Chairman of Ilseong Remicon, Joins Jeonnam 94th Honor Society
Pledge to Donate 100 Million Won Over 5 Years

On the 16th, according to the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Noh Dong-il), Chairman Jang Young-cheol, who operates Ilseong Remicon in Suncheon, Jeonnam, pledged to donate 100 million won over five years.
In Suncheon, the 9th member was born after three years since 2017, and this is the 94th member in Jeonnam.
About 20 people attended the membership ceremony, including Noh Dong-il, Chairman of the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea; Jang Young-cheol, Chairman of Ilseong Remicon Co., Ltd.; Kim Sang-gyun, Secretary General of the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea; Kim Song-il, Chairman of Juyoung STS Co., Ltd.; Jeon Baek-cheol, Head of Hyundai Motor Honam Commercial Region Headquarters; Jang Sung-ho, President of Ilseong Remicon Co., Ltd.; and Jang Yoon-seok, President of Boseong Remicon Co., Ltd.
Chairman Jang, out of love for Suncheon and during discussions for regional development, decided to contribute to local welfare and joined the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea Honor Society as a member.
Noh Dong-il, Chairman of the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, said, “We thank Chairman Jang Young-cheol for his precious resolution in the new year of the Year of the Rat,” and added, “We will become the Jeonnam Love Fruit that delivers love and sharing hands to neighbors marginalized in the local community while coexisting together.”
Chairman Jang said, “Good deeds are done quietly, but it is about returning to society the gratitude I have for my family, company executives and employees, and this society that made me who I am today,” and added, “I believe sharing is the greatest legacy, and I hope my small sharing will be conveyed as warm love so that there will be no one suffering in society.”
Meanwhile, Ilseong Remicon Co., Ltd. has been steadily participating in sharing since 2013, donating 17.5 million won to the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, and is actively carrying out various social contribution projects such as supporting people with intellectual disabilities and helping multi-child families in Suncheon City to solve low birthrate problems.
Chairman Jang established Ilseong Remicon Co., Ltd. in August 1988 and has been engaged in various activities such as serving as chairman of the Jeonnam Eastern Remicon Business Cooperative, chairman of Yeonwang Saemaeul Credit Union, vice chairman of the Suncheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and chairman of the Advanced Order Promotion Committee of the Suncheon Police Station.
The Honor Society is a representative fundraising project conducted by the Community Chest of Korea. It is a group of individual major donors who pledge to pay 100 million won or more either in a lump sum or within five years to solve local community problems and lead the maturation of the donation culture to promote the development of the social community.
As of the 10th, there are 2,264 Honor Society members, and in the Jeonnam region, a total of 94 members have joined since the first member joined in 2011.

In Jeonnam, by occupation, entrepreneurs are the largest group with 45 members (47.9%), followed by professional doctors with 21 members (22.3%).
