Yeonggwang-gun Heats Up with Winter Training Camp Excitement

According to the county on the 16th, recently, 936 people from 37 teams visited Yeonggwang through judo and high school soccer stove leagues, and currently, a total of 804 people from 31 teams are sweating it out in Yeonggwang through middle school soccer and women's basketball stove leagues.
Since the 13th, 707 players from 19 teams, including Boin Middle School in Seoul and Suyeong Middle School in Busan, have been participating in the middle school soccer stove league, preparing for the new season at the soccer fields within Sportium and Hongnong Hanmaeum Park soccer field.
In the women's basketball stove league that started on the same day, 97 players from 12 teams, including Sookmyung Girls' High School and Cheongju Girls' Middle School, are training at the auxiliary gymnasium of Sportium and Beopseong High School gymnasium.
The middle school soccer and women's basketball stove leagues will end on the 21st, and after the Lunar New Year holiday, starting from the 29th, the elementary school soccer stove league will be held, where about 500 players from 12 teams will once again heat up Yeonggwang.
The county expects that with about 26,000 athletes visiting for winter training camps, there will be an economic ripple effect of approximately 2.7 billion KRW in local industries such as lodging and food service.
