Democratic Party of Korea Busan Branch Launches 21st General Election Planning Team
Election Campaign Fully Underway with Assemblyman Yoon Junho as Head

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Yoseop] The Busan City Party of the Democratic Party of Korea has formed the 21st General Election Planning Team ahead of the April 15 general election and has officially entered the election system.
According to the Democratic Party of Korea Busan City Party on the 16th, the General Election Planning Team will be led by National Assembly member Yoon Junho (Busan Haeundae-eul) and divided into planning, organization, and pledge divisions to prepare winning strategies and roadmaps for the general election.
The General Election Planning Team will first analyze the political landscape by region to establish election strategy principles and identify pledge demands by area to develop customized pledges specialized for each electoral district.
In addition, they plan to discuss the composition and activity directions of the Election Countermeasures Committee, which will lead the election. The Democratic Party of Korea Busan City Party also decided to prepare customized support plans for each candidate through the General Election Planning Team to ensure victory in the general election.
The organization division will be led by Cha Sang-ho, Senior Vice Chairman of the Busan City Party, who will undertake organizational work encompassing professions, regions, and generations. The planning division will be led by Busan City Council member Jeong Jong-min, who will analyze local public sentiment and opinion trends to provide specialized candidate support by electoral district.
The pledge division will be headed by Professor Park Sang-hyun of Yeongsan University, with numerous experts and academics assigned to develop various pledges responsible for Busan’s future vision and public welfare.
Team leader Yoon said, “This election is one to reaffirm the changes in public sentiment shown by Busan citizens in the 2016 general election, the 2017 presidential election, and the 2018 local elections, and to create a ‘definite change.’”
