View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Seo Young-seo] Gangjin County Health Center announced on the 16th that from the 14th of last month until February 7th, it will provide chronic disease prevention and management education to 950 farmers on hypertension, diabetes, and musculoskeletal disorders.
The education will be conducted by visiting the town and township offices as well as the Agricultural Technology Center directly, and will be carried out over a total of 16 sessions.
The education content includes symptoms, diagnostic criteria, and complications of hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and musculoskeletal disorders, as well as dietary therapy and exercise therapy for prevention and management.
Along with conducting the education, the health center offers opportunities for early detection of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases through basic tests for blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol. Patients with musculoskeletal disorders are registered at the health center and receive continuous chronic disease management through home nursing visits.
