Gang Arrested in Busan for Producing 240 Counterfeit 100,000-Won Bills

On the 15th, the Sasang Police Station in Busan announced that they had booked three men in their 20s, including Mr. A, without detention on charges of violating the Counterfeit Check Control Act and fraud.
According to the police, Mr. A and his group are suspected of producing 240 counterfeit 100,000 won cashier's checks at a house in Sasang-gu on October 16 of last year. The next day, they purchased cigarettes and other items at two convenience stores in the Sasang-gu area using three counterfeit checks and received change, obtaining approximately 300,000 won in cash.
