Sejong Telecom Signs MOU to Develop 'Medical MyData Platform'
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] Sejong Telecom has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for business cooperation to promote a blockchain-based 'Medical MyData Trading Platform' project together with Busan National University Hospital, AI Platform Co., Ltd., and Jaeyoung Soft Co., Ltd.
On the 15th, Sejong Telecom announced that through this agreement, it will work on ▲ building a medical MyData ecosystem ▲ ensuring reliability and transparency by preventing forgery and falsification through MyData ▲ providing convenient services for medical MyData patients ▲ establishing a system to compensate medical MyData owners (patients).

Park Hyo-jin, Head of New Business Division at Sejong Telecom, stated, “Sejong Telecom has been leading the commercialization by developing and building the 'Blockchain-based Smart Academic Information Management System (SER)' platform last year, striving to secure a pioneering position in blockchain business models.” He added, “We will take on the challenge of the 'Medical MyData Trading Platform' demonstration project to provide practical assistance and compensation to MyData owners in the medical field and lead the practical application of blockchain technology.”
