The new chief joined in 1998 as the 46th class of police officer candidates and has served in the Office of Public Service Management at the Prime Minister's Office, the Office of Civil Service Discipline at the Presidential Office, the Security Division of the Korea Coast Guard, the Investigation Division Chief of the Busan Coast Guard, and the Innovation Planning and Finance Officer.
