Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital Holds Completion Ceremony for Uzbek Medical Technician Training Program
Construction of the Uzbekistan National Children's Hospital in March This Year
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital (Director Kim Dae-sung) announced on the 13th that it held a 'Completion Ceremony for the Uzbekistan National Children's Hospital Construction Project Invitation Training' in the auditorium on the basement first floor of the Yeongnam Regional Rehabilitation Hospital.
This domestic invitation training was conducted twice for medical technicians.
The first training was held from November 4 to December 1, 2019, and the second training was held from December 16, 2019, to the 12th of this year. A total of 19 trainees participated during this period.
The trainees received specialized clinical education on the operational systems, medical technologies, and the latest equipment in four specialized fields: biomedical engineering, laboratory medicine, radiology, and rehabilitation medicine. They also experienced Korea's excellent development through common education such as Korean cultural experiences before returning to their home country.
The Uzbekistan medical technician trainees who returned after completing the invitation training are expected to contribute to the stable opening and high-quality medical service provision of the Uzbekistan National Children's Hospital, which will open in March this year, by applying what they learned over the four weeks.
Meanwhile, Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital, as the training institution for the 'Uzbekistan National Children's Hospital Construction Project,' has so far completed invitation training for a total of 73 people out of 100 domestic invitation trainees, including 19 doctors, 30 nurses, 19 medical technicians, and 4 IT experts.

The Uzbekistan National Children's Hospital, which will be completed through the 'Uzbekistan National Children's Hospital Construction Project,' will be built on a 25,756㎡ site with approximately 280 beds and equipped with world-class equipment and facilities. It is scheduled to open in March this year as the top national children's hospital in Central Asia. Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital is responsible for the medical personnel training project of the Uzbekistan National Children's Hospital and continues to provide ongoing support.
