Chosun University Accelerates Proactive Training of Talent Tailored for Gwangju-Type Jobs
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University and Gwangju Metropolitan City are jointly launching an educational program to train specialized personnel for the 'Gwangju-type Job' initiative and are collaborating to cultivate customized talent.
According to Chosun University on the 13th, last May, Gwangju City, including Chosun University and nine local universities, signed an agreement to train 1,000 customized personnel suitable for the Gwangju-type Job project.
In this regard, the Chosun University LINC+ Project Group established the course 'Introduction to the Gwangju-type Job Automotive Industry,' a subject of the 'Gwangju-type Job Specialized Personnel Training Program,' in cooperation with the Gwangju Headquarters of the Korea Automotive Technology Institute in September last year, and has trained 40 specialized personnel so far.
The Chosun University LINC+ Project Group and the Gwangju Headquarters of the Korea Automotive Technology Institute signed a 'Business Agreement to Expand Education for Training Specialized Personnel for the Gwangju-type Job' on the 8th to expand the specialized personnel training program for the Gwangju-type Job.
Attending the agreement ceremony were Kim Chunsung, head of the LINC+ Project Group at Chosun University, Professor Bu Gicheol, Professor Jeong Sejong, and Administrative Support Team Leader Yang Goseung, while from the Gwangju Headquarters of the Korea Automotive Technology Institute, Director Lee Cheonhwan and others participated.
Through this agreement, they agreed to jointly strive to enhance the expertise of local university students and create jobs by fostering practical talent through ▲ specialized personnel training education related to the Gwangju-type Job automotive industry ▲ win-win cooperation to support corporate technical difficulties ▲ field visits and practical training.
Additionally, the Chosun University LINC+ Project Group plans to sign a business agreement with the Gwangju Green Car Promotion Agency on the 20th and open additional courses related to the Gwangju-type Job.
