The ‘2020 Industrial Complex Environment Improvement Project Government Joint Competition’ is a project in which related ministries jointly solicit and review applications for improving environments such as housing, culture, childcare, and safety in industrial complexes scattered across ministries, and provide integrated package support.
This year, the joint competition project includes 22 projects from six government ministries: eight projects such as designation and support of root industry specialized complexes by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy; seven projects including support for small and medium enterprise joint workplace daycare centers by the Ministry of Employment and Labor; one project for industrial complex-type Happy Housing by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport; and two projects each from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Environment, and the Korea Forest Service.
Gyeongnam Province plans to strengthen city and county promotions and encourage participation of companies residing in industrial complexes to create a package support effect among various types of support projects for the successful promotion of this joint competition project.
