Democratic Peace Party: "Proportional Liberty Korea Party is a 'Fake Party'... Should Not Be Allowed"
"Disguised Organizations, Regulation and Punishment Are Inevitable"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] On the 13th, the Party for Democracy and Peace stated regarding the Central Election Commission's decision on whether to allow the use of the name 'Proportional ○○ Party,' including the Proportional Liberty Korea Party, that "the Election Commission should not permit the name Proportional Liberty Korea Party."
Park Joo-hyun, chief spokesperson of the Party for Democracy and Peace, said in a commentary that day, "The Proportional Liberty Korea Party is a fake party created by the Korea Party, and it is a cloned party with the wife of the Korea Party's deputy secretary-general as its representative."
Spokesperson Park said, "The law regulates and punishes even tax evasion through sham divorces or sham address changes," adding, "All the more so, if a public organization like a political party is a disguised organization to infringe election laws, it is natural to regulate and punish it."
